A patron of the Rapid Response Unit for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who doubles as Board Member of the National Petroleum Authority, NPA, Madam Diana Mogre has shared a view that the New Patriotic Party NPP can only break the eight by extending the campaign to the grassroot levels as early as possible.
She has expressed no doubt in the Vice President becoming the next President of Ghana on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party, NPP.
“The signal is strong everywhere. We are looking for a candidate that can take us into the agenda of breaking the eight. This is not the time to say that I came into the party first; I have been in the party for this number of years. In my candid opinion, I would have said that there shouldn’t even be a contest. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has marketed himself so well that he stands tall among all others” Madam Mogre suggested.
The Rapid Response Unit is a group of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that has joined forces to rally support for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to emerge victory in the 2024 elections.
The group was inaugurated at Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region and tasked to ensure an overwhelming victory for the vice president in the NPP’s presidential primary.
Addressing sympathizers at the GNAT Hall in Bolgatanga, the energetic young lady dressed in a polo T-Shirt and cap for Dr. Bawumia told the crowd that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) would have no hope of returning to the presidency should the NPP decide on the Vice President.
“We are poised to breaking the eight. If we are looking for someone to help us break the eight as a party, then Dr. Bawumia is our best bet. And even the NDC is aware that Mahamudu Bawumia is a night mare to them.” Madam Mogre told the crowd amidst applauses.
