Renowned Ghanaian entrepreneur and politician, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, has announced that he will not be granting media interviews at this time as he channels all his efforts into restoring his businesses and recovering lost jobs.
In a Facebook post, Dr. Nduom stated, “Those of you in the media and elsewhere looking to interview me, sorry. Not now. All my work, efforts now go to getting back my companies’ licenses and bringing back 3,000 of the jobs that were lost.”
His statement appears to reference the collapse of some of his companies, including GN Bank, which was affected by Ghana’s financial sector cleanup. He remains focused on regaining the necessary licenses to reinstate employment for those affected.
Additionally, Dr. Nduom took a swipe at the Ghana Football Association (GFA), saying, “As for GFA, don’t mind them.” His remark comes in the wake of a three-month ban imposed on him by the GFA, barring him from engaging in football-related activities. The reason for the ban remains unclear, but it has fueled speculation about ongoing tensions between him and the football governing body.
The businessman’s remarks have sparked reactions on social media, with many speculating on his next steps in both business and football.
