The reigning Ghanaian FA cup champions Dreams FC, are optimistic of making a name for themselves on the African stage. Considering their slow start to the season, the FA champions remains confident in their quest for the Confederation Cup.
Dreams FC will face Angolan side Lobito and Nigerian club Rivers United.
Ameenu Shardow the Administrative director of Dreams FC stressed that although all the games will not be easy, they are well prepared for challenges that lie ahead.
“We wish to go past the group stages. Even though we greatly respect the teams, we have examined the group and are aware of their strengths”; said Ameenu Shardow.
With the Baba Yara Sports stadium hosting all of Dreams FC Confederation Cup home games, Ameenu Shardow edged the Kumasi supporters to show their unwavering support for the team whenever they play.
