The Eastern Regional Minister, Rita Akosua Awatey charged the departmental heads not to be armed chair leaders and managers but rather field officers as well as acquaint themselves with situations on the ground and happenings around their field of work.
On education, Mrs. Awatey noted that she will prioritize the establishment and setting up of more Technical, Vocational Education and Training, TVET, to help train more people, especially the unemployed.
This, she added, will help create jobs for the youth which will help reduce crime cases as a result of financial difficulties in the region.
