This year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, examinations commences today, August 1, 2022.
The exams starts with candidates undertaking visual arts project work for 2 weeks.
The entire examinations come to end on the 27th of September.
Speaking to GBC, the Head of Public Affairs of West African Examinations Council (WAEC), Agnes Teye Cudjoe, said the examinations are being conducted only in Ghana by WAEC because of time table alignment with other West African members of WAEC.
She said efforts are being put in place to align with the other countries so the examinations can be conducted simultaneously.
Madam Cudjoe noted that all necessary security measures have been put in place to make this year’s examinations successful.
