UEW: Class of 2023 Bids Farewell in Moving Commencement Ceremony in Winneba

On a beautiful Saturday, the class of 2023 gathered on the quad of the University of Education,Winneba to celebrate their graduation. Family, friends, faculty, and community members packed in Jophus Anamuah Mensah Conference Centre to witness these soon-to-be graduates receive their hard-earned diplomas and degrees.

The ceremony kicked off with processionals of faculty dressed in their full regalia, followed by 1,649 graduating students proudly wearing their caps and gowns. Opening prayer by the school chaplains.

Singing the school’s anthem alongside the country’s anthem proudly. After welcoming remarks from the school’s Chancellor, the commencement speaker, acclaimed, took the stage. In the Chancellor’s speech, he encouraged the graduates to use their education and talents to make a positive impact in the world.

After his inspiring words, it was time to welcome the Vice Chancellor and fellow important members of the University. The doctors, professors and lecturers taking the lead into the auditorium.

The Vice-Chancellor came with grand style to congratulate the graduates. Names of the first-class graduates were mentioned one by one as proud family members cheered in the stands.

When the final name was called, the class of 2023 cheered up celebrating four years of hard work finally coming to fruition.
