The Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS), has called for a review of the free Senior High School (SHS) Policy after three years of its implementation.
This is to ensure that, challenging areas are addressed to promote effective implementation and positive outcomes.
The President of CHASS, Alhaji Yakub Abubakar explained that, although the introduction of the policy is one of the best things to happen to Ghana’s education, its implementation has not been free from some pressing challenges, hence the need for the review.
He was addressing hundreds of delegates at the 58th annual Conference of CHASS in Cape Coast.
