Ghana Education Service, GES, says the Computerized School Selection and Placement System for Senior High Schools, has recorded few mistakes by students in the selection procedures.

This has led to the failure to identify their status of placement.

In a statement signed by the Head of Public Relations Unit of GES, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, out of the total number of 569,095 results received from WAEC, 451,797 candidates qualified to be placed.

It has therefore urged students and parents to contact its WhatsApp number 0534 517 153 to confirm their results status and complete the Self-Placement module to select from available schools before the deadline of the computerized school selection and placement system for senior high schools.

The move is to remedy the mistakes for a smooth placement. The statement also said some ten thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight papers have been withheld due to examination malpractices detected in the ongoing marking of papers.
