The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced an Easter break for Form Two students in Senior High and Senior High Technical Schools operating the Transitional Track system.
In a notice, the GES said the break will begin on Thursday, 17th April 2025, and end on Monday, 21st April 2025.
The Service directed heads of schools to allow students who wish to travel home for the Easter festivities the opportunity to do so. However, the GES clarified that the break is optional, and students who choose to remain on campus must be properly supervised during the period.
“All students who travel are required to return to school on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025, to ensure the prompt resumption of academic activities,” the statement added.
The GES urged school authorities to take the necessary steps to facilitate a smooth break and return process for the affected students.
