The Ghana Education Service (GES) has declared Friday, 7th March 2025, as a holiday for all schoolchildren nationwide.
According to GES, the break is intended to allow students to rest after their active participation in preparations for the Independence Day celebrations.
In an official statement, the service confirmed that academic activities will resume on Monday, 10th March 2025.
Parents and guardians have been advised to take note of the schedule adjustment and make the necessary arrangements.
GES also acknowledged any inconvenience this may cause but emphasized that the break is essential for students to recover after the demanding period leading up to Ghana’s 68th Independence Anniversary.
