The Ghana Scholarship Secretariat has opened its online application portal for the 2021/2022 academic year, effective Thursday, July 1, 2021.
The Registrar of the secretariat Mr. Kingsley Agyemang said some fifty-five thousand applicants are estimated to apply.
Funding these students will cost the taxpayer some ¢85 million.
Mr Agyemang cautioned the public to be aware of fraudsters, and that, the service has not engaged any individual, group or third party to assist any applicant in the process.
