Officials from the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons have visited the Accra High School to investigate cases of suspected food poisoning among the students.
This followed a report by the GNA that 27 students were hospitalised after eating food from the school’s dining hall.
When Graphic Online visited the school, officials of the Ghana Physicians and Surgeons were seen interacting with the students to find out what actually happened at the school.
Although they would not talk on record, sources say the officials were there to only investigate the suspected food poisoning after which a report would be filed.
Two of the students who were affected say they had diarrhoea after eating kenkey and fish.
