Former President John Dramani Mahama has handed over a renovated Boys Dormitory Block to his alma mater, Ghana Senior High School, at Tamale.
The former president and his friends from Cabral House, joined other old students to hand over the building which has received a major facelift with a new roof, complete electrical rewiring, new ceilings, installation of fans, and recasting of all the concrete floors.
Mr. Mahama expressed joy in reconnecting with some of his mates and seniors.
”Renovating and modernizing the building is his hearty contribution towards improving conditions for teaching and learning in the school.”
Former President Mahama’s wife, Lordina, who is also an old student-sponsored the repainting and replacement of the nets at the girl’s dormitory, known as the Lordina Block.
