The Ministry of Education will today, July 12, 2022, dispatch food supplies to Senior High Schools (SHS) experiencing shortage.
This comes after the Sector Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum met with leadership of the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools, CHASS, at the weekend over the issue.
The Upper West Regional Chapter of CHASS wrote to the Ghana Education Service, GES last week that Schools risked shutting down as a result of dearth in supplies.
This occasioned the meeting between Dr. Adutwum and leadership of CHASS.
Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Education, Kwesi Kwarteng, said the Ministry has moved to resolve the food challenges.
