The National Council of Parent Teacher Associations PTAs is urging parents not to panic due to the inability of the Ghana Education Service (GES) to place some students.

Speaking on GBC’s Current Affairs Programme, “Behind the News”, President of the Council, Alex Danso, said this is not the first time the GES has not been able to place students adding that all students will definitely get admission.

He said the Council backs the Double Track System and will continue to engage parents to understand it.

Meanwhile, the Acting Director of the Institute of Education Studies, Peter Anti, has asked the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service to accept criticisms and make corrections, as the Double Track system comes into effect next week.
