The Ghana Education Service (GES), says phase two and three of the Teachers Laptop Project will commence in January 2022, and will cover Junior and Primary School Teachers.
It says the training component of the project has so far built the capacity of 260 GES District ICT Coordinators with certified Microsoft ICT tools to provide technical support.
In a statement, the GES said digital online training and learning modules will soon commence for all teachers.
The training it says will cover digital lesson notes, using online tools for learning, management and supporting learners. The GES says to ensure teachers get easy access to approved GES/NaCCA learning resources, an agreement has been signed with all major publishers to have their textbooks and other teaching and learning materials uploaded unto the portal.
