The National Co-ordinator of National Technical and Vocational Training Institutes, Philip Attakora has praised President Akufo-Addo, for committing 130 million dollars to upgrade and modernize Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) system.
He told GBC’s Radio Ghana that governments have paid lip service to this sector and it is good that their request has now been granted.
Mr. Attakora said he hopes the project is implemented.
Mr. Attakora also called on the government to make it a policy that every year 40 percent of JHS graduates go into Technical and Vocational Schools in order to end the no job after school syndrome.
