The National Council of Parent Teachers Association (PTAs) is asking the Ghana Education Service (GES) to focus its attention on effectively implementing the Free Senior High School programme for the benefit of parents and students.
Speaking at the Upper West Regional Executive Meeting of PTAs, National President of the Association, Alex Yaw Danso said the PTA can support the free SHS if it is allowed by the GES to operate without interference.
He appealed to the GES to lift the suspension placed on the collection of PTA dues to enable it to support the schools with development projects.
