The University of Environment and Sustainable Development at Somanya in the Eastern Region has started admitting its pioneer students.
Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Eric Nyarko-Sampson, told GBC’s Radio Ghana that the first of five infrastructural phases of the university, estimated at 45 million Euros, has been designed to offer a conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning.
He said with students reporting on campus, all COVID-19 safety protocols are being strictly enforced to keep them safe.
