Management of the University of Ghana says it is working together with the Police and the University Health Services to further investigate the death of a Level 100 male student of the University who died Saturday afternoon (January 29, 2022), while swimming at the University’s pool.
In a statement signed by its Director of Public Affairs, Elizier Ameyaw-Buronyah, it said the family of the student has been notified and the body has since been deposited at the University Hospital.
The identity of the student has not yet been disclosed.
It assured members of the University Community and the bereaved family that they will be duly informed about any further developments.
