Founder and Presidential Candidate of the All-People’s Congress (APC) Hassan Ayariga has launched his campaign in the Upper East region with a visit to Kusasi and Mamprusi communities to express his concern about current happenings in Bawku and how peace can be maintained.
Welcomed by both communities, Dr Ayariga was tasked with ensuring that peace is sustained.
Dr. Ayariga on his arrival in Bawku first paid a courtesy call on Zugraan the Bawku Naba and his kinsmen and later launched his campaign.
He also met with petty traders at the Bawku market and promised them a better economy when given the nod.
Addressing Chiefs and people in Bawku, Dr. Ayariga promised to tackle corruption, poverty, insecurity and mismanagement.
