The Food and Drugs Authority, is going hard on companies that are flouting its directive on the advertisement of alcoholic beverages.
Per the directive no company or institution is supposed to advertise such products before 8pm.
Speaking to Radio Ghana, the Communications Director of the Authority, James Lartey, said FDA has compiled a list of such offenders and has forwarded it to the Police for investigations and prosecution.
He cautioned companies which deal in Alcoholic beverages to adhere to the rules as they will not be treated with kids gloves when caught.
