The Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, will present the Mid-year Budget on the 27th of next month.
The Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, disclosed this in Parliament as he presented the Business Statement for next week.
The Government’s Mid-Year Financial Projections Statement, or Mid- Year Review updates the economic assumptions and financial projections detailed in the State Budget released earlier in the year.
Meanwhile on other issues in Parliament, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ho West, Emmanuel Bedzrah, wondered why the House had still not gotten the Committee Report on the Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill.
Mr. Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu explained that it could not be taken this week due to the schedule of the Committee Leadership.
