In a tweeted message, Mrs. Akufo-Addo congratuled Madame Maada Bio and her country for the ”Hands Off Our Girls” campaign.
“I congratulate Madame Maada Bio and her country and wish her every success in her effort to end child marriage and reduce teenage pregnancies.”
I am honoured to be in Sierra Leone by the kind invitation of my fellow sister First Lady H.E. Maada Bio. She has taken a bold initiative, to improve the lives of the women and children of Sierra Leone, through an intervention called “HANDS OFF OUR GIRLS”. pic.twitter.com/UDt0n0RRLu
