Former German international footballer who also hails from Ghana, Gerald Asamoah, has initiated a charitable project, collaborating with German doctors to conduct heart surgeries on 50 children.

The partnership between Asamoah and the German medical team has been commended for the philanthropic gesture aimed at addressing life-threatening conditions in Ghanaian children.

Currently a professional coach, Asamoah resides in Germany with his wife and three children.

The team of German doctors, arriving at Kotoka International Airport on November 20, 2023, expressed enthusiasm for joining forces with Asamoah to provide life-saving surgeries for Ghanaian children diagnosed with congenital heart conditions.

Asamoah’s initiative has garnered widespread appreciation for its significant contribution to the well-being of these children.
