A member of the National Communications Team of the New Patriotic Party, Madam Tabitha Ayilla, has underscored the critical importance of collaborative action in building a better Ghana.

She emphasized that nation-building is not the responsibility of a single individual hence, the fight against illegal mining, or galamsey, requires a collective effort.

“Ghana cannot be built by an individual and galamsey fight cannot be fought by an individual. It is supposed to be a collective fight”, she said.

Madam Tabitha Ayilla said this during her appearance on GTV’s Breakfast Show on Thursday, October 11, 2024.

Commenting on the recent development involving Organised Labour on the issue of galamsey, she lauded their efforts for prioritising the nation’s welfare over individual interests.

She acknowledged the significance of being mindful of unintended consequences while addressing pressing issues and expressed confidence in the positive outcomes anticipated from new presidential initiatives.

She urged all stakeholders to engage in this collective effort without partisan biases, stressing the necessity for unity and joint action to drive progress in Ghana.
