Ghana enforces travel restrictions to high-risk countries amid COVID-19

The Ghana Immigration Service says it’s enforcing to the letter, the travel restrictions government has put in place to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Speaking at a press briefing in Accra, Laud Afrifa said a lot of foreign passengers are being turned away from the country’s airport and other entry points.

Meanwhile, two more cases of the coronavirus have been recorded in Ghana bringing the total number of cases to nine, the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has announced.
