Hasaacas Ladies have once again proven their prowess on the football field by clinching the Women’s Champion of Champions title after a decisive 2-0 victory over Army Ladies.

The match, held at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence in Prampram, showcased the skill and determination of the Hasaacas Ladies as they emerged victorious on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

The game began with both teams displaying commendable energy and tactics, but it was Comfort Owusu who broke the deadlock in the 39th minute. Owusu’s goal came from a perfectly timed header, expertly connecting with a cross from Abass Issah. This early lead set the tone for the rest of the match, with Hasaacas Ladies maintaining their momentum and keeping Army Ladies at bay.

As the second half unfolded, the tension in it became palpable. In the 74th minute, Mercy Attobrah delivered a moment of brilliance, curling in a stunning shot that left the crowd in awe and sealed the victory for Hasaacas Ladies.

This goal not only secured the win but also highlighted the team’s offensive strength and tactical superiority.

The Champion of Champions match served as a thrilling encounter between the league winners and the defending FA Cup champions.
