The Accra Regional and 37 Military hospitals yesterday (December 25), successfully delivered 13 newborn babies as of 12 noon on Christmas day.
The GNA reports that the 37 Military Hospital delivered six Christmas babies. Madam Genevieve Essel who is in charge at the Maternity Ward of the hospital said out of the six, four were males.
She said five of the number were delivered through Caesarean session while one was delivered naturally.
At the Ridge Hospital, it was gathered that seven newborn babies had been delivered as at 12 noon.
The Midwife on Duty, Angela Nkrumah, said out of the seven babies delivered, four were males. She added that out of the number, six were delivered through the normal delivery process while one was delivered at the theatre.
