Dr. Patrick Kuma Aboagye, Director-General of the Service, acknowledged the progress made but also called for collective efforts to combat myths and misconceptions that hinder access to Family Planning services.

The event also featured solidarity messages from USAID and UNFPA Ghana , urging increased domestic financing for family planning.

The CIP, expected to cost $114 million, was officially launched by the Deputy Minister of Health, Alex Kwasi Acquah, who reaffirmed the government’s commitment to its smooth implementation.
