The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has cautioned the public to be on high alert due to the outbreak of influenza in some schools.
It says the flu which hit three Secondary Schools last week has been brought under control.
The schools affected were Akuse Methodist Senior High School (SHS), Krobo Girls SHS and Legacy Girls SHS.
Deputy Director Public Health and Head of Disease Surveillance Department of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Franklin Asiedu Bekoe who spoke to Cecil Obodai Wentum on the Uniiq Breakfast Drive, said the affected students are responding well to treatment and that parents should not panic.
