As part of the activities commemorating its 80th anniversary, the Nima Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Hope Congregation, organized a health screening and blood donation exercise at its premises.

The event, held over the weekend, saw a large turnout of church members and local community residents benefiting from free medical services, including tests for blood sugar levels, hepatitis, typhoid, and eye screenings.

Participants were also able to consult with doctors and receive medication on-site, ensuring they received the necessary follow-up treatment. In addition, the blood donation drive, organized in collaboration with health authorities, contributed to local blood banks, supporting efforts to save lives in medical emergencies.

Church leaders expressed gratitude for the community’s active participation, noting that the health-focused initiative aligns with the congregation’s commitment to holistic well-being and its theme of serving humanity. The 80th-anniversary celebrations will culminate in a grand event on November 17, 2024.
