Vaccination of children against Measles, Polio and Tuberculosis in the Volta Region, will start tomorrow, March 15, 2023 following the receipt of the region’s consignment of the childhood vaccines.
Speaking to GBC News, the Acting Regional Director of Health Services, Dr. Senanu Dzokoto, said cumulatively, the region has so far recorded 10 measles cases but due to effective surveillance system put in place, the outbreak which occurred in Ketu South District was quickly contained.
