The Ministry of Health has opened applications for nurses who wish to apply for a two-year contract with the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados.
This is the fulfilment of an agreement between the government of Ghana and the government of Barbados for about 375 Ghanaian nurses to work in the island nation.
A statement signed by Chief Director of the Ministry, Nana Kwabena Mensah said only skilled nurses with more than three years of working experience will be considered.
The statement adds that applications would be received between today and November 7 on the Ministry’s recruitment portal.
