    • Wash hands frequently
    • Wear a mask and cover lesions
    • Keep skin dry and uncovered
    • Avoid touching shared items
    • Use saltwater rinses for mouth sores
    • Take warm baths with baking soda or Epsom salts
  • Safe Sex Practices: Use condoms during sexual activity and avoid new sexual partners during outbreaks.

High-Risk Groups:

  • Children
  • Pregnant individuals
  • People with weakened immune systems, including those living with HIV
