Government has established a committee to formulate a concrete plan for vaccine development and manufacturing in Ghana. The Committee will be chaired by the former Minister for the Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Professor Kwabena Frimpong-Boateng.

On the number of students infected with the virus, President Akufo-Addo said out of 69,350 schools in the country, 207 have reported cases of infections.
