The World Bank Country Director for Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone, Henry Kerali has urged Ghana to be alert to monitor and fight any pandemic following the Ebola virus outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda.
Speaking to the media in Accra at a documentary screening in relation to how Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone resolved the crisis, Mr. Kerali said the devastating Ebola virus in 2014-2015 taught the Bank and the International Community, some important and hard-earned lessons.
This, he said has helped to improve global response to similar pandemics.
