The New Patriotic Party, NPP has reacted to the results of the balloting process for the December elections stating that it is the will of God that made them choose the number one spot.

The party whose Flag bearer,  Dr. Mahamud Bawumia was the first to file his nominations ahead of the other candidates, picked number one in the balloting process while their fiercest rival, the NDC resorted to the number 8 position.

Gary Nimako who represented the NPP in the balloting process with Peter Mac Manu in an interview after the process, maintained that, the process was devoid of any malice and controversies as were purported by the NDC’s Fiifi Fiavi Kwettey.

He said the position of the party in this year’s election signifies greatness for the party.

According to him, the position of the party will propel their candidates both in the Presidential and Parliamentary elections to be visible enough to electorates. He believes it is the will of God that has made them to be number one in the filing process till the balloting process.
