The Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has announced that a limited recruitment of teachers into Senior High Schools will commence next week.

In a Facebook post dated July 30, Dr. Adutwum urged potential teachers to be on the lookout for details regarding applications and areas of focus for the recruitment exercise.

“I am pleased to announce that a limited recruitment drive for high school teachers will commence next week,” he stated. “Stay tuned for more details on how to apply and the specific areas of focus for this recruitment” the Facebook post read.

This announcement comes on the heels of the Ministry of Health’s (MoH) recent declaration of recruiting 15,200 nurses and midwives, effective Monday, August 5, 2024. According to a statement released on Friday, July 26, 2024, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) has granted the necessary financial clearance for the recruitment process. Interested and qualified candidates are expected to apply through the MoH’s online application portal, where they can select their preferred agency under the Ministry.”
