Radio and TV Relationship Counsellor Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt, popularly known as Counsellor Lutterodt, has made a passionate appeal to Stonebwoy, one of Ghana’s biggest musicians, to take steps to ensure that his newly commissioned four boreholes in the Western region are maintained.
Speaking on the poor maintenance culture of Ghanaians, the controversial counsellor predicted that the projects have the potential to become white elephants if Stonebwoy does not keep an eye on them.
“I want to encourage Stonebwoy to make sure that the maintenance of these boreholes becomes a part of the Foundation’s mandate,” he appealed.
“Let your eyes be on the boreholes, otherwise, they will not be fruitful. Don’t do it and leave it,” Counselor Lutterodt further stated on the Entertainment Review Show on Peace FM.
He also proposed that Stonebwoy’s Livingstone Foundation purposely train someone and entrust the maintenance of the boreholes into the hands of that person.
Counsellor Lutterodt referred to the Azumah Nelson Sports Complex at Kaneshie, which has now become a white elephant and a breeding ground for encroachers, to support his argument.
He, however, commended the “Into the Future” hitmaker for giving back to society and called on other musicians to emulate his kind gesture.
