President John Dramani Mahama has revealed plans to complete all unfinished health facilities across the country, prioritising healthcare as a key objective for his new government.

This move aims to provide every citizen with access to quality medical care, regardless of their location or economic status.

Speaking at the National Prayer and Thanksgiving Service in Accra, President Mahama revealed that the government is compiling an inventory of all uncompleted health facilities.

This will enable the government to develop a comprehensive plan and program to complete and operationalise these facilities.

The President’s commitment to completing existing healthcare projects marks a departure from the common perception that new governments often abandon projects initiated by their predecessors.

This initiative is part of President Mahama’s broader agenda to transform Ghana, which includes a bold 120-day plan to tackle the country’s pressing challenges, such as economic recovery, education, and affordable housing.
