The Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama has promised to continue the process of constructing an airport for people in the Upper East Region. Mr. Mahama, said this as part of his campaign tour of the Region.
Mr. Mahama said the percentage of the District Assemblies Common Fund for persons with disabilities will be increased if he is voted into power.
Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo touted the achievements of the NDC in the erstwhile Mahama administration. He said his constituency stands to benefit if Mr. Mahama returns to the presidency.
Other speakers including the Chairman of the NDC campaign team, Joshua Alabi and the Member of Parlaiment, MP, for Bawku Central Mahama Ayariga told the people to remain vigilant and come out in their numbers to vote for Mr. Mahama and all the parliamentary candidates in the Upper East Region.
