The Bono East Regional Health Directorate now has a Regional Medical store. At a ceremony to hand-over the building renovated by the UNFPA in Kintampo, Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, said ”even though the Ghana Health Service has a good supply chain system, there are still some challenges to be resolved”.
The Director General said the medical stores will help facilitate emergency response and improve healthcare delivery in the region.
