In an interview with the media during the donation, the Founder and Executive Director of the organization, Sarah Ntoh Ashu Davis, mentioned that their aim is to help reduce gender inequality, through promotion of access to quality education, reproductive, maternal and child health, women economic empowerment and livelihoods, including supporting persons with disabilities.

The Assembly Member for Akwane Dobro Electoral Area, Joseph Yaw Konnor, also showed his gratitude to Madam Ashu Davis, for extending the support towards the education of pupils in the Akwane Dobro community and also appealed to the organization to continuously offer such services to boost education and women empowerment in society.
A Rep from the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Education Directorate, Joseph Twentor mentioned that it is always encouraging when NGOs like Access To Basics gives back to communities to help address socio-economic development issues in society adding that gestures of such nature builds fruitful partnership.
He advised the pupils that being afforded an opportunity to be in school is one of the greatest gifts that anyone can receive and it is therefore important for them to use the opportunity wisely to equip themselves with much knowledge as they can.
