The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially postponed the scheduled disciplinary hearing for former Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo. Initially set for Monday, April 7, 2025, the hearing was deferred due to “emerging scheduling adjustments and internal considerations,” according to a statement issued by the party’s national secretariat.

The announcement, signed by Hon. Patrick Boamah, Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee, and William Yamoah, Director of Finance and Administration, assured that a new date and time would be communicated promptly.

The party reaffirmed its commitment to fairness, due process, and procedural integrity in handling disciplinary matters.

Hon. Adwoa Safo had been invited to appear before the committee following an earlier notice dated March 24, 2025. The postponement underscores the party’s efforts to ensure proper deliberation on internal issues while maintaining transparency and fairness.

Party stakeholders, including the National Chairman and General Secretary, were copied in the communication.
