“Some qualities of kanekalon fibres are that they are flame retardant, it is light, soft and silky and it is globally loved. So these are the qualities we want our Hairstylists to be identified with. So in all we want our Hairstylists to understand that we are here to improve their skills, we want them to improve on their skills and that when they improve their skills, they will be able to give better services to their clients and this is why we are having this training session with our Hairstylists here in Ho” she said.

He was hopeful that the training programme would prove to be a game-changer for hairstylists and beauticians in the Volta Region.
“This is a way for national youth authority to encourage young people especially women to acquire livelihood skills. Aside the livelihood skills they acquire they are also encouraged to learn about business management, how do you manage the business in a way that is sustainable. Regularly they would have to be encouraged to upgrade themselves learn the trendy styles learn the new ways of doing things learn how to keep records learn how to do some basic business management to be able to know whether the business is profitable or not.” he said.
The collaboration with Kanekalon, a leading provider of high-quality hair extensions, added further value as they were introduced to the brand’s range of premium hair extensions, gaining insights into their applications and maintenance.
