Parliament reconvenes at AICC on October 15

Parliament approves $250m World Bank loan

Parliament is set to recommence from vacation on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 for the fifth meeting of the fourth session of the eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) for public business.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin on Monday, September 30, 2024 to the Members of Parliament and the general public.

According to the Speaker, the House will sit at The Dome, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) opposite parliament House due to the ongoing renovation works at the main Chamber of the House.

The summons reads “Pursuant to Order 58 of the Standing Orders of the Parliament of Ghana, I, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament, hereby give notice that the fifth meeting of the fourth session of the eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic shall take place in the Dome, Accra International Conference Centre on Tuesday, the 15th day of October 2024 at ten o’clock in the forenoon,”.
