The People’s National Convention (PNC) has rescheduled its national delegates congress to Saturday, September 7, for the second time.

Initially planned for August 24 and later moved to August 31, the decision to postpone came after a meeting on August 30 in Accra. This congress is crucial not just for electing national executives but also for selecting the party’s flagbearer for the upcoming December 7 elections.

Following a gathering of the National Executive Committee on August 30 in Accra, the decision was made to shift the National Delegates Congress to September 7, 2024.

The party’s Acting General Secretary, Prince Agyemang Duah, highlighted the importance of this decision to prepare for the Presidential and Parliamentary elections on December 7, 2024.

The vetting process for all aspirants was completed on August 23, with only one candidate being disqualified.
