An Accra Circuit Court has again adjourned the case in which one Collins Quaicoo, a security officer at the presidency who is alleged to have shot indiscriminately at the Ablekuma Central Collation Centre injuring a journalist and two others.
This is the second time the case has to be adjourned because the sitting judge Emmanuel Essandoh is indisposed.
On the 24th of this month, the case was adjourned to today 30th of December, but it has again been adjourned to tomorrow, for his bail application to be heard.
Pius Asiedu and two others were shot at while covering this year’s elections.
At the earlier sitting, Collins pleaded not guilty to six charges including causing unlawful harm, and use of offensive weapons.
His lawyer, Faziel Cisse prayed the court for his client to be granted bail, but his request was declined.
