NPP MP reacts to Deputy Finance Minister, Adu Boahen’s dismissal

One of the 87 New Patriotic Party (NPP) Members of Parliament (MPs), Mr. Kwame Andy Appiah-Kubi, who earlier called for the removal of the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, says he is excited that the Deputy Finance Minister has been shown the exit.

The Asante-Akim North MP, Mr. Appiah-Kubi, led the 87 NPP Lawmakers at a Press Conference held in Parliament, calling for the removal of the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, and the Minister of State at the Finance Ministry, Charles Adu Boahen.

Mr Appiah-Kubi welcomed the sacking of Mr. Adu Boahen in an interview on Monday, November 14, 2022.

Mr. Appiah-Kubi explained that the action taken by President Akufo-Addo was necessary to save his administration.

“We are happy that the President has listened to the party……

We are very excited,” he posited.
